The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is getting a final push as it raises money for new diagnostic imaging equipment.

Campaign co-chair Dave Depencier says will be hitting the road in May, cycling from Wallaceburg to Toronto and Niagara, and back again.

The 1000-kilometre ride is expected to last about six days, and he’s hoping other cyclists will join in along the way.

“If you want to start in Thamesville and work your way to Chatham, or you can join the ride when we get to Chatham – it doesn’t matter. It will all be up-to-date and current so that you’ll be see where we’re at the day of the event. And as a community, I think we will bring this campaign as a close together – that’s the plan,” says Depencier.

Depencier and fellow Chatham-Kent Builders Association member Dan Van Moorsel will leave from the Sydenham Campus on May 23rd.
