A group of local high school students want to show how they’re giving back to the community.

In place of a final exam, Chatham Christian School teacher Amy Bergsma challenged her class to work on a project to raise awareness about local charities and volunteer opportunities.

Tonight, a special presentation will be held at the school as each student presents a report on their charity of choice to a panel of community volunteers.

At the end of the evening, the charity with the most votes will be given a donation of $5000.

The presentations get underway at 7 o’clock tonight in the Worship Centre at Chatham Christian School.
