The Chatham-Kent Economic Development office is partnering up with local business leaders, and representatives to post an on line survey regarding the issue of trade and tariffs. 

U.S. President Trump is looking to tear up agreements in place because according to him, Canada is profiting far too much.

Geoff Wright, the municipality’s Economic Development Officer, says a round-table discussion of local leaders Thursday focused on the topic.

He points out a lot of local business people are getting hit twice, when the product comes in, and when it goes back.

Now, municipal officials are looking for your input.

An online survey is being launched to get local business leaders’ input on agriculture, aluminium, and steel imports and exports.
