A Chatham medicinal marijuana plant has taken another step forward. 
AgMedica has received an amended license from Health Canada to sell dried medicinal cannabis from its Riverview Cultivation Facility in Chatham.
Officials say they expect to launch a sales portal in the next few weeks, and the company is looking to hire a purchasing coordinator.
Phase one of the facility is currently in production with a total annual capacity of 6000 kilograms.
Construction of phase two is underway, and is expected to increase the total annual capacity to over 26,500 kilograms.
