This past weekend I had so much fun at all of the local events that were happening across the XS area! I started my weekend off in Chatham for Rib Fest! There were 5 Rib vendors there as well as many other vendors, foods, and activities! There was even live entertainment from local performers which was a great way to kick off my weekend! After Rib Fest on Friday night I headed down to Florence for the Florence Truck and Tractor Pull.
On Saturday I had a jam packed day! My day started out in my hometown, Sombra for Sombra Days. There were baseball and volleyball tournaments happening all weekend long, as well as live music and kids activities. Then, the Summer Escape headed down to Mitchell’s Bay for the Mitchell’s Bay Open. There were lots of people out there and lots of fundraising going on for the Kids Fishing Derby that is happening on July 22nd, so many of the proceeds went to that. The Summer Escape headed back to Chatham for Rib Fest day 2 and had a blast there as well! Finishing off my Saturday, I cruised down to Merlin for the 6th annual Car Show. Everything took place at the legion, there were town wide yard sales, bake sales, and vendors in the legion. This was a great way to end my Saturday!
I’m thrilled to be kicking it at Dresden’s Kinstock this Friday and Saturday, as well as, Blenheim’s Cherry Fest!
