Today’s the day for the 4th annual Barn-BQ at the Fox Family driveshed in Dover Centre. 
The Ontario Sugarbeet Growers’ are helping to present the event.
According to spokesperson Mark Lumley, money raised goes to the Brian Fox Memorial Agricultural Scholarship.
“One of his goals was to encourage the youth of farming,” says Lumley. “We thought it would be very appropriate to name a scholarship that would give scholarships to individuals who wanted to take agriculture as a post-secondary education choice.”
Everything gets underway at 4pm and ends with stand-up comedy from James McNeil at 7pm.
