Close to 50,000 people took in this past weekend’s Brigden Fair.

Organizer Julie Maw says it’s all about tradition.

“People come home for thanksgiving and I think they’ve made it part of their family tradition, ‘lets go to the Brigden fair, go home, eat supper,'” says Maw. “Or take the family to the fair,  it’s becomes something they do every year.  A community tradition.”

As volunteers clean up the fairgrounds over the next few days, Maw says plans are already in the works for next year, which will have a theme of “Making Tracks.”
