kids-school-busParents and new kindergarten students are invited to a free session on school bus safety.

The Chatham-Kent Lambton Administrative School Service is partnering with local school bus operators, and General Manager Kent Orr says it’s happening in both Chatham and Sarnia

“It’s an introduction to riding a school bus for our youngest riders, JK, SK and even Grade 1. We include the guardians in the program as as well, so we bring them together. And we give them some key safety messages,” says Orr. “We have a short animated video that walks through key points about riding a bus, on to get on safety, waiting at the stop.”

The session is free and it’s taking place from 9am-11:30 on Saturday at Ursuline College in Chatham, and at Great Lakes Secondary School in Sarnia.
