Charges have been laid against a Blenheim woman, accused of trying to attack a man with a butter knife.
The alleged assault took place at a Blenheim home last night, authorities say the woman charged at a man she knew, making stabbing motions with the knife.
The intended victim was able to disarm his assailant and no one was hurt.
The 35-year-old accused is now facing charges of assault with a weapon.
