ckha2As the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance gets ready to welcome a new CEO, some changes are coming to the way the Alliance handles employee concerns.

Interim CEO Ken Deane says they’ve changed the employee whistleblower hotline:

“We’ve engaged a third party to manage it to guarantee anonymity people can submit their concerns or issues through this hotline on an anonymous basis,” says Keane.  “That way we’ll identify issues within the organization that we need to follow up and that way staff feel confident they can do that without having any potential negative response from the organization.”

Deane describes it as a kind of Neighbourhood watch for all members of the Alliance and staff to help protect the organization.
