cknnChange will be the focus of next week’s Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Network conference.

Coordinator Erica Kitchen says the third annual event is open to anyone, not just those employed by local charities.

“We have all three sectors represented in our registrations, business government or non profit,” says Kitchen.  Everybody is attached to some sort of non profit, whether they volunteer or works somewhere, so understanding the sector would be something everybody can use as a beneficial day.”

The day-long event features keynote speaker Suzanne Gibson, who will lead a high-energy interactive session on strategies and responses to the ever-changing non-profit world, as well as a tackling more taboo topics of competitive fundraising and staff retention.

The deadline to register is this Friday at 5pm.
