Nine Entegrus employees are heading down to Tampa for the next few weeks to help get the lights back on.

Keith McAllister, Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Entegrus says 60,000 utility professionals from across the continent will be in Florida.

“We’are part of a consortium where we have back up mutual assistance programs,we’re well known and we take a leadership role in these kinds of thing,” says McAllister. “One of my staff was in constant communication with the group in Florida and they gave us a call and said, ‘Send some people down,'”

The cost of the expedition is being covered by Tampa Power.
