Chatham-Kent Police are investigating a late-night crash that has sent one person to the hospital.
Officers say a 21-year-old Erieau man was driving on Erie Shore Drive near Erieau last night. The vehicle went into a deep drainage ditch after the man went off the road while driving on a bend. Two of the passengers got out of the vehicle and called for help – both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say the driver was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries, and has since been transferred to Windsor Regional Hospital.
