“Hello, my name is Sassy. I am an approx 1 year old female, shepherd (possibly Basenji) mix. I am a good girl with lots of energy and I love to play ball. I get a long great with most dogs and I love to wrestle and run around with them. To say I enjoy playing in water is an understatement… I LOVE IT!!
I love to swim, I love to find a puddle and roll in it, I love to splash people as they walk by and when all else fails, I love to put my front legs into my drinking water pail and scoop water out until I’m thoroughly soaked. I think I’m part duck!
I am a sweet too though and I like a good belly rub as much as the next guy. My small size (30 – 40 lbs) makes me great for just about any home, but I really love to play, so I would be happiest with an active family, so we can go for lots of walks. I have a soft coat, and wouldn’t mind being brushed once in a while. I do need to spend some more time practicing my commands, but I love to learn and promise to listen, if you promise to be patient.
