Chatham-Kent-Hospice-Logo1-300x260Provincial funding is helping the Chatham-Kent Hospice reach more people in our community.

Through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Seed Investment Stream, the local organization is being given $75,000 over 11 months to develop a comprehensive wellness outreach program.

Officials say the project will help those who are isolated to build connections in the community, and could impact as many as 500 people locally.

Junior Achievement of Southwestern Ontario is also receiving funding, $25,600 to host a one-day financial literacy conference for grade 10 students.

In all, 204 projects are being funded across the province.
