It appears Kevin Jakubec and Water Wells First is going to be returning to court in the near future.

According to a release from the Council of Canadians, Samsung Energy has filed a statement of claim against Jakubec and other residents who took part in an 11-day blockade at a Bush Line turbine construction site.

The statement of claim also allegedly make reference to costs of $50,000- 100,000 a day covering only the labour and idle equipment for Samsung and Pattern.

In August Jakubec was ordered to pay $25,000 in a defamation suit against CK Councillor Jeff Wesley.

On October 2nd the turbine company won an injunction against Water Wells First, effectively ending any further blockades or interference with the North Kent Wind 1 project.
