Dresden will be hopping today as Lambton Kent Composite School celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Co-organizer Karen Logan says it’s a full day of activities at the high school.
“[We’ll have] breakfast from 8:00-11:00AM, the Ford Test Drive fundraiser to finish our back campus project, opening ceremonies will be at 10:30AM, and we’ll point out some former staff and Principals who will be present, and from 11:00AM-3:00PM, we’ll have tours, displays, and activities for kids”, says Logan.
A number of displays will also be set up, looking back on the past five decades at the school.
“All of the bulletin boards in the school are being redone. We have one that has old Student Council pictures, one that’s dedicated to all the former librarians and library clerks”, explains Logan.
