“As an independent Canadian agri-business working with farmers across the country we understand the importance of agriculture to the social and
economic fabric of our country.” says, Dave Baute, President and CEO of Maizex Seeds. “We are proud as a national seed business founded and
based in Chatham-Kent to sponsor the International Plowing Match here this year. This event will not only bring profile to our community, but
importantly provide the opportunity to educate people who are not involved in agriculture about the fundamental role our industry plays in
everyone’s day to day life and what an amazing job our local farmers are doing to help feed the planet.”

Around 100,000 people are expected to take in the event from Sept 18-22 outside Pain Court.
