The Lambton Kent Middlesex Conservative recently sent a letter to Environment Minister Chris Ballard, after speaking to him at Queens Park about the issue a few months back.

McNaughton has now invited the Minister to visit the area an see first-hand the water tanks stored outside – which are at risk of freezing – that homeowners are relying upon.

“In the last few days, I sent a letter to Minister Chris Ballard to come with me to the North Kent area to meet with families impacted by these turbines and to see the impact that these turbines are having on people’s water,” McNaughton says. “We now know that at least 17 families aren’t able to drink the water from their wells.”

McNaughton says he’s very concerned for the families, and the potential impacts that the Otter Creek Wind Farm could have on Wallaceburg-area wells.
