Facing 50 counts of discreditable conduct, a local police sergeant has been found guilty.
A police service act hearing was held in Chatham yesterday for Robert Mugridge, accused of borrowing tens of thousands of dollars while on duty.
Reports say a joint recommendation has been made for dismissal from the force.
Mugridge still faces criminal fraud charges, which will be dealt with in court in the spring.
