Information was presented at a North Kent Wind Community Liaison Committee Open House, May 16, 2018.

North Kent Wind remains confident that turbine construction and operation activities are not the cause of local well water issues.

At a public open house earlier this week, representatives say the causes could be from subsurface gas causing disturbance to sediments at the bottom of the well.

They say other causes could be issues with well construction, iron & sulfate-reducing bacteria, or corrosion of well component.

Meantime, local activists continue to push the Ontario government to launch a health hazard investigation into area well water concerns.
