Chatham-Kent council will be asked to approve a proposed bylaw to address use and care of roadways across Chatham-Kent come Monday night.
For instance, there isn’t a municipal regulation concerning oil or chemical spills on roadways. Nor is there a rule stating you can’t dump dirt, leaves, garbage or snow.
Fines for more than 20 infractions are being considered and are either $250 or $400.
