Wallaceburg is a huge pumpkin patch today as the Wallaceburg Kinsmen present Pumpkinfest.

The Growers and Throwers have teamed up with the Kinsmen to move things in town and put Pumpkinfest together.

Things will start at 9 am with a pancake breakfast at Knox Presbyterian Church, there will be face painting, biggest pumpkin contests and as Eric Hancock with the Kinsmen tells us there is also an all-day silent auction

“We have items from a number of sports teams, local construction companiy giving gift certificates worth 8 hours of free labour and a number of local retail outlets have gotten involved too.”

Everything will wrap up in the evening with a chicken and rib dinner at the Kinsmen Center on Dufferin
