The Wallaceburg Red Devils got thumped 14-6 in game 3 of their Western Junior B lacrosse playoff series in  Elora Saturday night.

The Mohawks jumped all over the Red Devils and led 7-2 after one period and never looked back to take a 2-1 lead in their best of 5 series.

Cory Lucier carried the scoring load for Wallaceburg with 2 goals and 3 helpers.

Tyler Brown had a goal and 2 assists, and Tanner Cole chipped in with a goal and a helper.

The Mohawks out shot the Red Devils 52-44 and are now in a position to move on.

The Red Devils now face elimination at home on Sunday afternoon in game 4. That’s a 4 o’clock start at the Memorial Arena.
