Should Council Play O Canada?

While Toronto City Council opens every meeting with O Canada, in 2015 Richmond Hill council voted down a similar motion over fears that lyrics referencing God may be unconstitutional.

The Supreme Court ruled in 2015 Saguenay town council meetings violated the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms guarantee of freedom from the imposition of religion because they open with a prayer.
