They put up a great fight but the Wallaceburg Red Devils season came to an end on their home floor Sunday afternoon.

The Elora Mohawks out scored Wallaceburg 17-13 to win the best of 5 Western Junior B lacrosse playoff series 3 games to 1.

The Red Devils won the series opener in Elora but the Mohawks came roaring back to win 3 in a row.

Marshall Powless and Tyler Brown led the way for the Red Devils with 5 points apiece.

Tanner Cole, Cory Lucier, and Kyle Dawson each had 3 point efforts.

The Red Devils out shot Elora 52-45 in front of over 400 fans at the Memorial Arena.

The Red Devils finished the regular season 16-4 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
