Bruce Davidson, Special Education Coordinator Lambton Kent District School Board says the event gets underway at 5 o’clock at CKSS.

“A carousel of agencies are coming together that support families of students that have developmental disabilities or are on the Autism spectrum,” Davidson says. “We have about 20 agencies coming.”

Some of the groups involved in this evening’s fair include Community Living, Goodwill, the United Way, Canadian Mental Health, and Developmental Services of Ontario.

The public and English Catholic school boards are co-hosting the event, aiming to educate teens and parents on opportunities to help with the transition to adulthood.

A similar event is being held in Sarnia tomorrow evening.
