Two more local residents are running for Chatham-Kent Council.

Aaron Hall and Chris Glassford are vying for one of two council positions in Wallaceburg.

Hall is co-owner of the Sydenham Current online newspaper, and says his experience as a journalist has given him a unique insight into local issues.

“I’ve worked in Wallaceburg for years, as a journalist I’ve always tried to stay on top of the issues,” Hall says. “Wallaceburg needs to continue to have solid leadership on municpal council, and we need to have representatives who will commit themselves and dedicate themselves to ensuring that issues are addressed.”

Hall and Glassford are joining Nick Cadotte and incumbent Councillor Carmen McGregor in the Ward 5 race.

Meantime, Dylan McLay also filed his nomination papers, hoping to earn a seat in Ward 4-North Kent.
