Those looking to attend this week’s International Plowing Match and Rural Expo can likely leave their umbrellas at home.

Temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday will be between 24 and 28 degrees, according to Environment Canada meteorologist, Geoff Coulson.  The normal high for this time of year is 22 degrees.

He says concerns over the remnants of Hurricane Florence won’t push north of Lake Erie.

Coulson says there is a chance of a shower on Thursday, but rain is more likely for Friday.

Gates to the event open tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
