McDonaldsPoster2On Tuesday, February 18th, Jay Smith is taking part in a fun and unique event benefiting the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent. This event is tasty. It’s entertaining. It’s fine dining…at McDonald’s!

99.1’s Jay Smith has volunteered to be a Chatham-Kent celebrity server for the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation’s White Glove Dinner, in support of their “CK Kids Can’t Wait-Urgent Needs Campaign”. This once in a lifetime event combines the luxurious experience of a fine dining restaurant with the tastes of McDonald’s world renowned cuisine. The St. Clair McDonald’s location will be closing down on the evening of February 18th as the red carpet is rolled out and the silverware is shined up for a quirky evening of fun, entertainment and a special three course dinner.

menuGuests will dine on real china with real silverware, at tables decorated with fine linens and centerpieces as myself and other celebrity waiters in tuxes take care of the guests. I’ll even be bumping elbows with Ronald McDonald himself who will be dressed in a tuxedo and will be pitching in to help serve and pose on the red carpet with guests. Live entertainment and a live auction of unique items will provide entertainment as funds are raised to support vital services needed by children across Chatham-Kent.

Jay Smith would love to see you at the event and have a chance to be your server for the evening. If you are interested, a limited number of tickets to this event are available through the Foundation office. Each ticket is $100 and includes a $50 tax receipt. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation office at 519-354-0520 ext. 226 or by email Candice at cjeffrey@childrenstreatment-ck.com.
