A special gift from a group of philanthropic women in Chatham-Kent.
The 100+ Women Who Care recently donated $11,425 to the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent, in support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
The Imagination Library program provides free books to participating children up to 5 years old.
Members of 100 Women Who Care Chatham-Kent meet four times each year to vote on which charitable organization they would like to donate to next. Each member contributes $100 to donation.
Since its inception in 2016, the organization has donated close to $300,000 across 25 charitable organizations.
The group’s next meeting will be held in February.
