11 Collisions, 1 Woman Sent to Hospital

Chatham-Kent Police are reminding residents to abide by the rules of the road after responding to 11 separate vehicle collisions yesterday alone.

One woman was taken to hospital after one of those crashes.

Around 11:30 Friday morning, officers say they responded to a single vehicle crash on Horton Line near Fargo Road. According to police, the car left the roadway and ended up in the ditch on Horton Line. Officers say the driver was found and taken to a London hospital by air ambulance with critical injuries.

Details are unknown about the other 10 crashes on Friday, but Chatham-Kent Police say it’s everyone’s responsibility to avoid collisions. They say tips about safe driving can be found here.
