The 15th annual Cancer Society fundraiser kicks off at 6 o’clock tonight at the track behind Chatham-Kent Secondary School.
The event is no longer 12 hours long, and instead will wrap up at midnight.
The event will include the traditional survivor’s victory lap and luminary ceremony, along with entertainment and kids’ activities.
Last year’s event drew a crowd of 374 people, raising $86,000 for cancer research and support services.
