Officers say they executed a search warrant at two residences in Moravian First Nation on April 24, 2019.
During the search, they found items related to at least 20 break and enters and thefts in the Lambton, Elgin, Kent, and Middlesex County regions.
Some of the highlights from the recovered stolen property are as follows:
- Pickup truck
- Motorcycle
- All-Terrain Vehicles (2)
- Utility trailers (2)
- Electronics – computers, cameras & gaming consoles
- Construction equipment
- Power tools
- Generator
- Sporting equipment
- Collectibles (hockey cards & figurines)
A 47-year-old man from Moraviantown First Nation has been charged with the following offences:
- Break, Enter – Commit an Indictable Offence
- Theft Under $5,000 of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000 (2 counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 (18 counts)
He’ll answer to the charges in court early next month.
