A Chatham teen won’t be getting behind the wheel of a vehicle anytime soon.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Kimball Road in St. Clair Township on January 22 shortly after 7 p.m.
A vehicle was located and stopped on Plank Road in Sarnia, and the driver was arrested.
As a result, a 19-year-old Chatham man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. The accused was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
He will answer the charges in court next month.
