Following a meeting to go over how this year’s event turned out, officials say they wound up with some extra money in the bank.
Those funds will be held in an account and put towards next July’s celebrations.
Meantime, the committee is looking to attract a few new members, and will be holding its first organizational meeting at the YMCA in Chatham on September 7th.
