For the second straight year, there will be no South Western Ontario Pork Producers Conference in 2022
The event is typically held in February at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, and is considered Canada’s longest running educational pork conference.
The planning committee says they made the difficult discussion to cancel due to the uncertainty around the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and safety protocols.
2022 marks the Pork Producers’ 60th anniversary.
Organizers plan on hosting a live event to mark the 61st anniversary in 2023.
