Four students have been honoured with bursaries from the Chatham Sports Hall of Fame.
The winners are students who have contributed significantly to the betterment of athletics in their own school in a non-playing capacity, such as coaching, managing, scoring, timing, fundraising, or serving on their school’s athletic society.
This year’s honourees include Jared Scott from Chatham Christian High School, CKSS grad Austin Dales, Zach Clarke from John McGregor Secondary School, and Abby Denomy from Ursuline College.
The awards, including a certificate and a $300 bursary, were presented to each of the students at their schools’ recent graduation or athletic awards ceremonies.
