$32,000 Raised For Three Oaks Respite Cabin

A fundraiser supporting farmer and first responder mental health is being hailed a great success.

The first annual Shifting Gears Tractor Parade on Saturday saw over 70 tractors line the road and over $32,000 raised for Three Oaks Cabin

“We are humbled and incredibly grateful for such a great turnout. It couldn’t have been such a success without the many sponsors, volunteers, and parade participants! God bless our farmers,” says organizer Brooklyn Stam (Bergsma).

Funds raised through the tractor parade and July’s Hard Miles Run will support ongoing programming for guests when they are staying at the respite cabin and following up with them once they return home. The programs will be designed and led by registered therapists who understand the psychological difficulties faced by Farmers and First Responders.
