As the Salvation Army enters the final few days of the 2016 campaign, it’s looking for some extra support.
Captain Stephanie Watkinson says they have only reached 67.8% of their goal.
Meantime the 42nd annual Christmas Luncheon put on by the Black Goose and the Childs Family is being held today.
Watkinson says all it takes is a donation.
“A free will offering is given to support the Red Kettles in Wallaceburg,” Watkinson says. “They provide an excellent lunch, and it’s just a free will offering.”
The poorboy-style luncheon kicks off at 10:45 this morning at the UAW Hall in Wallaceburg.
