5 New Cases In Chatham-Kent, 113 In Windsor-Essex

Chatham-Kent Public Health is reporting 5 new cases of COVID-19 today, along with 3 recoveries. That pushes the active case count up to 33.
Overall the municipality has dealt with 562 cases, with 526 resolved, and 3 deaths.
One local resident is currently hospitalized with the virus. There is still one institutional outbreak and one categorized as a workplace outbreak.
There were an additional 113 cases of corona virus diagnosed in Windsor Essex today bringing their case count to just under 900.
In Lambton there was another death reported, their second in a week. That’s 27 lives lost since the start of the pandemic. 4 new positive test results brings their active case load to 27.
The numbers in Ontario continue to go on the wrong direction.
The ministry of health reporting 2,139 new cases of Corona virus. Also 43 additional deaths pushing our total over the 4,000 mark. There are currently 932 Ontario residents in the hospital, 256 in ICU and 157 on Ventilators. There are now 17,084 active cases in the province.
