554 New COVID-19 Cases in Ontario Today

A significant drop in new cases of COVID-19 today across Ontario.

One day after setting an all-time single day record, the province is reporting 554 new cases. That still makes it the second highest tally since late April.

Nearly 38,400 tests were completed across the province in the last day.

251 of the cases are in Toronto, 106 are in Ottawa, and 79 are in in Peel Region.

As of yesterday afternoon, Chatham-Kent’s total active cases stands at three, all of which were transmitted through close contact with another positive case.
