A traffic stop in Chatham has led to drug charges for a local man.
Chatham-Kent Police pulled over a car on Richmond Street yesterday morning after realizing the expired license plates were registered to another vehicle.
As the driver was being taken into custody, officers discovered over $67,000 worth of drugs, including of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.
The 39-year-old was held in custody for a bail hearing and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
