Lowe’s Stepping Up For Non-Profit Groups

In 2021, $3811.50 was been raised at the Wallaceburg Rona store to support the Salvation Army.

A hardware chain is once again helping to support local non-profit groups.

The 5th annual Lowe’s Canada Heroes campaign runs through the month of September, with customers at Lowe’s and RONA making donations to causes selected by their local store, and the company matching donations by 50% up to $2000.

This year, the Wallaceburg RONA is collecting donations for the United Way of Chatham-Kent, while the Chatham store has selected the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent as its charity.

In 2021, the Wallaceburg store raised over $3800 for the Salvation Army, while the Chatham location brought in almost $3400 for the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
