The bulletin has been issued based on the Environment Canada forecast calling for strong winds for the Western part of Lake Erie. The swirling winds are expected to reach 35-40 Kilometers an hour and that means high waves. In fact the height of the waves could reach 1.5 meters.
The peak times will be Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening but the bulletin runs into Monday. There is also a chance this could leave to shoreline areas along Rondeau Bay susceptible to flooding, although the risk is not severe.
As always residents are asked to keep an eye on the weather conditions and prepare accordingly.
