Abandoned Car Found in Field Near Merlin

Chatham-Kent Police are still trying to figure out how an abandoned car ended up in a field near Merlin.

They say the vehicle was found on Eight Line near Merlin Road yesterday morning.

As yet, police haven’t been able to track down whoever was behind the wheel, and the crash remains under investigation.

Damage has been pegged at $50,000.
