An arrest has been made following a break-in at a local garden centre.
Officers were called to the Earthworks Garden Centre Sunday morning and found that the suspect had entered a shed located on the property and removed items.
The suspect tried to flee the area on the arrival of police but was able to be apprehended.
A 33 year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with break and enter to commit theft and possession of stolen property under $5000.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing/
