Officers at the Ontario Court of Justice helped nap a suspected thief.
Monday morning, a notice was circulated to court staff, warning of a man caught on video surveillance breaking into vehicles. Around 9am, court officers spotted a man they believed matched the suspect’s description.
Police arrived and a search of the accused turned up property from nine different victims.
The 28-year-old has been charged with nine counts each of theft and possession of stolen property, and one count of using a stolen credit card.
Police say all of the recovered property has been returned to its rightful owners.
