Chatham-Kent Police continue to investigate an alleged home invasion in Merlin.
Authorities were contacted late Monday night about a break-in involving a firearm that led officers to a home just outside the Merlin town limits.
A containment area was established around the Aberdeen Street property and four adults were taken into custody.
There’s no word yet on whether anyone was harmed or what charges, if any, have been laid.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and at this time there is no concern for public safety.
