Advisory Group Members Sought To Support Immigration Partnership

A local immigration partnership is looking for diverse voices to provide input on how best to welcome and integrate newcomers to Chatham-Kent.

The Chatham-Kent Local Immigration Partnership (CK LIP) is now accepting applications for its Immigrant Advisory Group.

The group will be responsible for informing CK LIP on what immigrants are experiencing in the community while also sharing ideas on improving settlement outcomes.

Those applying must have migrated to Chatham-Kent and be current residents of the municipality. Those selected to sit on the advisory group will serve a three-year term and will meet in person four times per year.

The deadline to submit an application is June 27. For more information about the Immigrant Advisory Group and how to apply, click here.
